Ender's Game (Ender's Saga, #1) - Orson Scott Card

When I was reading the reviews on Goodreads, some people loved it, and some people hated it.

So, I knew I had to go ahead and read it, and judge it for myself.

Aaaaaaand, I liked it!

It helps that the protagonist is a child, and there's all this drama, where he keeps being tested in unfair ways.

And the little twist at the end...made me really happy, for some reason. Maybe because it made me feel relieved that he wouldn't have to deal with anything else like what he already dealt with.

But now, I'm reading "Speaker for the Dead", and that's going very slowly for some reason. Probably because there's no sign of Ender yet. It's interesting, but not as much as the first one, I think. Hope the pace builds up.
